His knowledge in the racing simulation world extends to over a decade, having worked with a number of simulator developers. Having completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kings College London, he is also responsible for the design, development and optimisation of the simulator. He has also competed in motorsport and is a current MSA International C licence holder. This provides him with unparalleled knowledge to gather data and improve the quality of the simulator. His experience includes participation in the Radical European Masters, Gulf Radical Cup, Formula BMW Bahrain and Formula Gulf 1000. He has also tested cars in Formula Ford UK, TCR UK, Formula Palmer Audi and Formula BMW Bahrain and British GT4.
Alan is a driver performance consultant at GTS RS, having joined the team in early 2016. Alan has competed at the highest level in british karting and as a result knows exactly what it takes to perform at the top level. He is also responsible for producing the karting news website, karting1.co.uk and has been involved in the sim racing world for over 10 years. When he is not drinking green tea, you can find him undertaking PhD level research in the area of driver performance, looking at the science behind what makes drivers so good from a physiological and neuroscience point of view.
