Why prepare on our professional simulator?

  • The simulator provides a stable and limited variable environment for you to learn a circuit or refresh one in your memory. This is achieved through visual coaching and accurate data analysis of your inputs.
  • You can work through a programme for practice, qualifying and the race.
  • It provides the ability to isolate your driving issues quickly and effectively, saving valuable time and money.
  • Our simulator incorporates technology used in top level manufacturer simulators. It is used by race teams and professional racing drivers. This benefits you as it is constantly updated with all the correct data.

Why should I train with GTS RS when I can use my home simulator?

  • This is a frequent and good question from our customers. The work we do at GTS RS is to supplement your individual training programme which may include the use of your home simulator if you have one. We have worked extensively to create a system that will provide all the correct cues for real world driving. This is implemented throughout the system from software to hardware. It cannot be compared to a home simulator system purely because of this calibration.
  • Our primary goal is to make you faster on real circuits
  • You will appreciate the difference of our simulator once you drive it
  • Home simulators are an amazing way of doing potentially unlimited laps. We highly recommend their use. Usually drivers who have done considerable practice on simulators or otherwise, tend to benefit the most from our sessions.

An example of a typical coaching session

  • Initial brief to discuss the objective of the session. It could be learning the track and completing as many as laps as possible, working on braking technique, or to improve race craft.
  • You will then be given a brief of the controls of the simulator before starting your initial driving session.
  • Depending on the objective the session will consist of a mixture of driving and analysis, both visual and with the data.
  • After your final driving session, we will have a debrief with you to measure your performance against your objectives. We will then discuss future objectives that you can work on for your next session.
  • Your data will then be provided for you to take and analyse.
